How to use Brayt R1
To get that professional, long-lasting finish, preparation is key:
- Prep: The surface must be bone-dry and surgically clean. Remove all old wax, gloss enhancers, or silicone residues. Pro Tip: Wash plastic with warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and allow to dry for at least 12 hours before application.
- Conditions: Apply between 5°C and 35°C. Avoid working on overheated surfaces or in direct midday sun.
- Apply: Using a cloth or brush, apply R1 sparingly across the entire surface. Note: Avoid applying multiple heavy layers; a little goes a long way.
- Dwell: Let the product penetrate for 10–20 minutes. (We recommend working in sections that you can finish within this timeframe).
- Finish: Buff away any residue with a clean cloth. For a higher gloss level, give it a final wipe with a fresh microfibre.
- Cure: Allow the product to dry fully before exposing it to the elements.
Important: Apply R1 sparingly and avoid multiple layers. Do not use Brayt R1 on white coatings.
