The ShineMate FlexEdge Rotary Backing Plate is an indispensable backing plate to achieve the perfect polish.
The edge of the pad is wide and soft, but allows the pad to flex over the curvature of a vehicle while providing greater control.

Manufactured from microcelluar Urethane foam that has adaptive performance and can absorb vibration. It does not deform permanently, and is extremely tough and durable to withstand the harsh use.
The Velcro surface against the cushion is of very good quality and withstands the stress that tough polishing brings.
The back plate fits all rotary polishing machines on the market with an M14 connection which is standard on the vast majority of rotary polishing machines such as Flex, Rupes, Liquid Elements as well as ShineMate.
