Bilt Hamber Dynax-S50 is a high-solids (>50%), self-healing anti-corrosion wax formulated for high-risk enclosed cavities, box sections, welded seams, and voids. Featuring active, metal-seeking polar molecules, it displaces surface moisture and creeps via capillary action into tight flanges and folded edges. The coating cures to a semi-transparent brown film that self-heals if scratched or disrupted. Dynax-S50 maintains adhesion in high-humidity and variable temperature conditions without swelling, detachment, or peeling, outperforming competitors in 2,000-hour ASTM B117 salt-spray testing. It is not UV-stabilised and is intended for enclosed, shielded, or transit applications.

Application Guidelines
- Pre-Treatment & Surface Prep: Ensure cavities are clean. While Dynax-S50 displaces minor surface dampness, extremely wet surfaces should be pre-treated with Bilt Hamber Ferrosol.
- Temperature & Viscosity Control: Store containers at ~15°C for 24 hours prior to use. For 5L bulk liquid, loosen the cap and warm the container in a hot water bath to lower viscosity for maximum crevice penetration. Note: Never heat aerosol cans.
- Application: Atomise directly into cavities or box sections to achieve a uniform dry film thickness of ~50 microns.
- Off-Gassing / Venting: Leave treated cavities open and unsealed for at least 48 hours to permit carrier solvents to evaporate fully before inserting bungs or plugs.
- Removal: Wipe or flush with solvent-based cleaners if surface removal is required.
