AUDACE is a high-performance, water-based compound designed for significant defect removal at low speeds. Engineered with a new generation of abrasives, AUDACE allows a random orbital (DA) polisher to achieve the heavy-cutting results typically associated with rotary machines, effectively reducing working times by up to 50%.
The secret to its efficiency is Cold Cut Technology™. This innovation ensures major flaws are eliminated at lower rotations (1200 RPM on a rotary or speed 4.5 on a DA), significantly reducing the risk of holograms and heat build-up. This not only protects the substrate but also ensures a cleaner, more effortless polishing process using less product.
While AUDACE is particularly effective on hard surfaces and modern ceramic clear coats, it remains a versatile staple for any paintwork when paired with the correct pad. Remarkably, despite its aggressive cutting capacity, can remove P1000 grit sanding marks, AUDACE leaves a refined, medium-polish finish.
Key Benefits:
- Precision Cutting: Reliable removal of deep scratches and heavy oxidation.
- Superior Efficiency: Reduces labour time by up to 50%.
- Clean Formulation: Paraffin and filler-free; leaves no residue on plastic trim or rubber seals.
- User-Friendly: Minimal dust production and effortless wipe-off, even on "sticky" paintwork.
- VOC-FREE: Completely odourless and environmentally conscious.
For a world-class, two-step finish, follow AUDACE with Labocosmetica FIERO refinishing primer.
Application & Usage Instructions
To achieve the best results with AUDACE and its Cold Cut Technology™, follow these guidelines:
With a Rotary Polisher:
- Speed: Work between 400–600 RPM to spread, increasing to 1000–1200 RPM for the correction phase. This lower speed range provides an ideal balance between cut and finish, even when using wool pads.
- Product Amount: Use 4 drops for wool pads (due to higher absorption) and 3 drops for foam pads.
- Pad Choice: We recommend a wool or Hybrid Microfibre Pad for maximum defect removal or the Labocosmetica Medium Blue foam pad for a more refined finish.
With a Random Orbital (DA) Polisher:
- Preparation: Apply 3 drops to the pad. Start at Speed 1 to evenly spread the product over a 40x40 cm section.
- Correction: Increase to Speed 3 to initiate the abrasive break-down, then move to Speed 5 for maximum cutting performance until the compound is exhausted.
- Pad Choice: Use the Hybrid Microfibre Pad for extra-hard surfaces. For softer finishes or lighter defects, use the Labocosmetica White or Blue pads.
Top Tips
- Cleanliness: Clean your pads frequently during the process. This prevents dust formation and ensures the abrasives perform at their peak.
- Finish: AUDACE is designed to be easily removed from the surface. For a perfect, hologram-free result on sensitive paints, always perform a final wipe with VERITAS and a clean microfibre cloth before moving to the finishing stage.
