The Labocosmetica Blindo Plus and HPC PRO combination is a professional grade multi layer coating system engineered for high durability, chemical resilience, and surface slickness. This system utilises a hard resin base layer integrated with a hybrid polysilazane top coat to provide long term protection against heavy environmental contamination, road salt, and industrial fallout.
BLINDO Plus 30ml: High Protection Base Coat
Blindo Plus acts as the primary sacrificial barrier on the paintwork. Formulated with high molecular weight complex resins, it increases surface hardness to help mitigate wash marring and fine micro scratching.
- Self Fast Curing SFC Technology: Using nano link technology, the coating establishes a stable bond with the lacquer profile. It achieves a partial cure within 70 minutes without requiring UV or infrared baking equipment.
- Layering Window: Subsequent layers or the top coat can be applied 60 minutes after the initial application, minimising total workshop time.
- Finish: Delivers a deep, high gloss finish that enhances the natural depth of the paintwork.
HPC PRO 30ml: Hybrid Polysilazane Overcoat
HPC PRO is a secondary membrane engineered to be applied either as a dedicated top coat over Blindo Plus or as a standalone protective layer. It combines an inorganic Polysilazane matrix with flexible polymers to deliver extreme water repellency and surface slickness.
- Application Tolerance: Features an extended flash period and open working time, allowing the detailer to rectify levelling defects or high spots post application.
- Dust Out Technology: Formulated for consistent performance across variable ambient temperatures and humidity levels, making it suitable for both detailing studios and mobile operators.
- Surface Properties: Imparts highly hydrophobic and antistatic characteristics. This prevents mineral spots, road salts, and traffic film from bonding to the surface, making routine maintenance washes much easier.
Performance and Durability Data
The system has undergone real world testing across global environments with high climatic stress, including sand abrasion in Dubai, heavy industrial smog in Manila, and severe winter road salting regimes in Scandinavia.*
- Standalone Durability: Blindo Plus provides a baseline operational lifespan of 30,000 km under unmaintained conditions.
- Combined System Durability: When paired as a dual layer system with HPC PRO, total protection extends up to 48 months or 60,000 km, subject to a standard maintenance routine.
Professional Application Protocol
Surface Preparation
- The vehicle must be fully decontaminated, chemically washed, and machine polished to remove any surface defects or existing sealants.
- The paintwork must be thoroughly degreased. The use of Labocosmetica VERITAS at a 1:5 dilution ratio is mandatory prior to application to ensure proper bonding.
Application Method
- Apply indoors in a covered, dust free, and well ventilated workspace. Do not apply in direct sunlight.
- Work in localised sections measuring a maximum of 50x50 cm.
- Utilise diffused or reflected lighting to monitor the flashing process and remove high spots immediately. Buff off residue within a few minutes using clean, high GSM microfibre cloths.
- Curing Requirements: The vehicle must remain dry for 12 hours for initial curing. Total structural curing takes 36 hours. Do not wash the vehicle with detergents for 7 to 10 days post application.
- Infrared Baking Optional: Position the IR lamp at a distance of 50 cm for 15 to 20 minutes at a regulated temperature of 60°C.

*Durability Information
The Labocosmetica coatings were subjected to different stress tests first in the laboratory and then directly in the field thanks also to the collaboration of different international detailers.
We have selected the cities with the most extreme climatic conditions in the world: Dubai (United Arab Emirates) for the scorching heat and its sandstorms, Delhi (India) and Manila (Philippines) for the suffocating smog and the tropical heat, Moscow (Russia) and Gothenburg (Sweden) for the cold and the road conditions, in addition to the major European capitals where the climatic and road conditions are certainly more normal.
It should be noted that for the entire duration of the tests it was not always possible to comply with the coating maintenance program recommended by us.
This allowed us to verify the condition of the treated surface in the worst situation.
With the results of the numerous tests we have made a weighted average where it can be seen that one year of life of our coatings is approximately 15,000 km.
